Meet the Team
Phil Worsman, Founder & CEO
- Chief Phil Worsman is the Founder and CEO of Redline Fire Solutions, bringing a dynamic background as a Fire Chief and California State Fire Instructor. Born in a generational firefighting family and with extensive experience in Wildland Urban Interface and Structure protection, he is a proven inventor of innovative firefighting equipment and solutions that enhance fire service effectiveness and safety. Phil oversees plant design and operations. He drives the development and testing of cutting-edge fire chemical solutions, aligning with the company’s mission to provide solutions and revolutionize firefighting technologies. With extensive leadership experience. he has implemented training programs that improve operational effectiveness and response times across various fire departments in San Bernardino County and Inyo County California. A level 3 Master Instructor, Phil holds multiple valuable certifications and is a highly specialized professional in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, and wide technologies. He also engages in community outreach to promote fire safety and prevention.
Marcos Silva, VP
- Marcos is the President and CEO of California Airsales, Inc., where he plays a key role in overseeing, coordinating, managing, and leading a dedicated team focused on business development and the creation of new products for all aspects of fire protection. This includes everything from first-response solutions to preventive measures and innovative approaches to future protection needs. With years of international experience, Marcos is a highly qualified airline pilot and expert in operating a wide range of aircraft. His aviation expertise is complemented by his entrepreneurial spirit, having founded and led businesses for over 25 years.
- In addition to his business ventures, Marcos is actively involved in public service as a first responder and law enforcement volunteer. He serves with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Los Angeles Sheriff's Department (LASD), Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), and as a crisis responder for the city of Los Angeles.
- Marcos has been a key figure in various air-drop projects and numerous fire protection initiatives, applying his diverse skill set to contribute to both business and community safety. He holds a degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Brazil, which has provided a strong foundation for his leadership in both aviation and fire protection sectors.
Chrystel Worsman Founder & CSO
- Chrystel Worsman is an innovative Chief Science Officer and Co-founder of Redline Fire Solutions, holding a Ph.D in chemical and physical sciences. She has extensive experience developing fire and environmental safety chemical solutions and has a proven track record in patenting advancements and enhancing public safety. Chrystel has served as a formulation chemist in the cosmetic industry and held leadership roles, including Executive Vice President at Setaram Inc. Fluent in English and French and proficient in Spanish, she is a recognized expert in chemical formulations for firefighting and has authored several international patents. Additionally, Chrystel actively volunteers as a firefighter, further enriching her understanding of safety measures in emergency response.
- Dr. Worsman's multilingual capabilities in French, Spanish, and English further enhance her ability to navigate international markets and collaborations. Her unique combination of scientific expertise, business acumen, and firefighting experience makes her an invaluable asset to Redline Fire Solutions' leadership team.
Dan Reese,
- Dan Reese has over 37 years of distinguished service as a public servant, critical care nurse and wildland firefighter, culminating as Chief of Tactical Air Operations for CALFIRE. He managed tactical air operations, aviation training, wildland fire chemicals, and military programs, advocating for innovative fire suppression technologies. Reese was instrumental in developing the first interagency helicopter night flying policy and integrating Very Large Air Tankers ( VLATs) into California’s aerial firefighting fleet. He was one of the primary architects for the creation of the State’s catastrophic Aviation Response Plan and received the Legion of Merit Medal, California’s highest civilian honor. After retiring, he worked with Alterna Capital Partners as the President of Global Super Tanker Services and later founded the International Wildfire Consulting Group in 2020, continuing his commitment to wildfire innovation and policy.
Darren Hutchinson, CTO
- Darren Hutchinson is the Owner and Chief Operations Officer of Quintech Fire Services Ltd, with over 32 years of experience in the fire service. Throughout his career, Darren has worked extensively on Wildland Urban Interface hazards, incident response plans, and training for industrial clients while fostering relationships with government agencies. His expertise includes roles such as Engine Boss and Structure Protection Specialist, and he is a trained specialist for PyroLance. A recognized speaker and published author in wildfire preparedness, Darren holds multiple certifications, including Fire Services Instructor and Structure Protection Group Supervisor. He actively engages in projects enhancing wildfire protection and training across various sectors. Darren serves as the Chief Training Officer.
Les Rowe, CDO
- Mr. Leslie Rowe has over 30 years of experience in chemical fire suppression system design and engineering. He has first-hand knowledge in the sales and marketing of chemical fire systems for boats, yachts, clean rooms, dip tanks, hazmat storage, vehicles, aerospace, spray booths, and special hazards.
